Catherine Fortner is the Practice Director at Open Insights, a data strategy, technology and consulting firm. Previous to Open Insights, Fortner led the data strategy at Yahoo! for leading Fortune 50 Technology and Telecommunications advertisers. Her expertise in translating data into actionable insights, recommendations and growth strategies led to record revenue gains in her time there. She also spearheaded social media research and experimentation, created and led multi-million dollar content syndication programs and managed several major partner relationships. Before Yahoo!, Catherine held Account Planning positions at advertising agencies, leading strategy for both B2C and B2B technology clients. Fortner earned a BS in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
