Faizan Chaudhary is Head of Infrastructure & Technology at Open Insights and draws from his rich background leading large enterprise operations in Data integration and product development in global finance and telecommunications.

Up until October 2016, he was the Head of Data Integration and Information across Barclays before he took on the role of Interim Chief Data Officer for Barclaycard. Remit included relationship management with the Chief Operating Officers of various lines of businesses and managing the delivery across a variety of platforms. Accountable for launching products using Data. Technology remit included group wide warehouse (on Teradata), group wide responsibility of ETL, transformation for SAS, building the BigData capability. Faizan was the accountable executive for vendors like Cloudera, SAS, Ab-initio, Informatica and Teradata.
  

Before joining Barclays, Faizan was at Misys where he was the Head of their Banking product development. Faizan has rich experience in the Telecommunication industry, worked at British Telecom across their consumer, wholesale and global services business lines. Faizan was key in the separation of Openreach from the BT group in terms of the overall design, operating model and the technology separation that followed.  Faizan advises a number of Indian upcoming startups.
